About: A Valentines matching card game consisting of 9 pictures and their corresponding words (total 18 cards) . Can be used as 2″ by 4″ cards for table use or up to 11″ by 17″ cards for floor or wall use (teachers can make up various games when using cards on floor or wall). This game is designed to use the Anishinaabemowin words in Pos#34 “Valentines Day” and reuses those same words consistently in different activities, such as, this matching game, so that learners can begin to practice these words in different contexts. Teachers can use this game as part of their lesson plan or as a compliment to holiday events/activities in their classroom.
